Email communication is the most popular online activity in America. And when it comes to promotions, 75 percent of all consumers say they prefer permission-based updates from companies through email, while 93 percent say “yes†to receiving information via email.
No surprise then that 80 percent of more than 3,000 Fortune 1,000 executives ranked email number 1 when asked which advertising channels performed best for their companies. Perhaps a stunning ROI of $46.62 for every dollar spent on email has something to do with it also.

Eighty-two percent of all U.S. households own a grill.
By the Numbers
16.7 Million Grills
Americans took home 16.7 million new grills in 2009 alone, firing them up an average of one to two times per week during the summer. July 4th, Memorial Day, and Labor Day are the most popular grilling occasions.
Grills, hibachis and barbecues are a high fire risk, causing an average of 5,700 residential fires, 10 deaths, 100 injuries and $37 million in property loss each year.
Despite the traditional view that men rule the family grill, a national survey found that six out of 10 women handle the household grilling duties at least once a month.
